Big Ideas: greetings, introductions, descriptions, numbers, time, Spanish-speaking countries,
cognates, formal vs informal, dates, nationalities, clothes, school supplies, and colors.
Essential Questions: What is a cognate? Which countries speak Spanish? How do I greet
someone? How do I tell time? What is todays date? Where are you from? What am I wearing?
What do I need for school? What is formal and informal?
