Over the course of the year you have been exposed to all aspects of design. In this project
you are instructed to complete one final brief which showcases your best work to date. Utilising all
the formerly developed skills you will produce a portfolio incorporating sketching CAD and a
practical project.

1. Work completed must be students own effort.


2. Students must cite all sources employed during the research
process
3. Students work must be devoid of plagiarism and display a high
degree of individuality
4. Should any doubt be held over the ownership of coursework
completed submitted material will be given a no grade.

Music is an ever present aspect of life. Trends in the personal listening devises have come full circle
with the prominence of the headphone once again taking centre stage. You are tasked with
designing an innovative and practical headphone holder which should incorporate a musical theme.
Or

Design a kitchen utensil in a modernistic style. You are open to the selection of the piece. the
execution of the project should display your own personal design style.

Or

Design and make a decorative box to hold small items. The design should incorporate contrasting
materials and exude your own design preferences.

Or

Design a key holder with a secondary function. The holder should be capable of holding a minimum
of 10 keys and display them in a clear fashion.
