Chip is complex set of electronic components and their

interconnections.
Through sequence of chemical and photographic steps circuits are
constructed on semiconductor wafer

OPTICAL LITHOGRAPHY
Technique in which patterns of geometric shape on mask are
transferred on thin layer of radiation sensitive material covering the
surface of semiconductor material.
