Sample criteria for reviewing teaching and learning activities, including

digital resources for use in PDHPE


This checklist has been designed to assist teachers make decisions about the use of
teaching and learning resources including digital content for use in PDHPE. It should be
noted that any checklist to assist with learning activity evaluation may not be able to
capture the full range of issues which may arise and should be used only as a guide.
Does the learning activity/ sequence/ resource:

All learning activities and resources used in NSW public schools should be consistent with
the values of public education and reflect departmental policy, including the Audiovisual
Materials in Schools - Procedures for Use and guidelines for lawfully screening DVDs and
videos.
