Paxton Lively of the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office contacted fellow law enforcement officers to let them know that a local businessman wants to purchase ballistic vests for K9 units throughout West Virginia. Officers with active K9 teams that need vests should email Sgt. Lively with the number and ages of their dogs so a list can be compiled. Sgt.     I was approached by a local businessman here in Charleston who wanted to purchase vests for our K9
    unit. We just recently purchased vests for our dogs and dont need any at this time, He also expressed interest
    in making sure that all K9s throughout WV need to be protected and he wants to help provide those.
    Any active K9 team that needs a ballistic vest please contact me via email, PaxtonLively@kcso.us.
    Provide me with how many dogs you have and their age. I am compiling a list over the next couple weeks and
    then I will return your email with a sizing form for the vests that you will need to fill out.
