Washington, D.C., and Camden Station, Baltimore, Maryland, over the CSX Capital
Subdivision, and Baltimore Terminal Subdivision. Service began along this route in 1835 as
part of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad (B&O), making it one of the oldest passenger rail
lines in the U.S. still in operation.[2] The Camden Line is the shortest MARC line and along
with the Brunswick Line, is the successor to the B&O commuter services.
