Antibiotics

A substance produce by certain bacteria or fungi

that kills other cells or interferes with their
growth.
The first type of antibiotic was the penicillin. It
was produced by a mold of the genus Penicillium.
It was discovered in 1928
Antibiotics was once called a wonder drug
because antibiotics cured many bacterial
diseases that were once fatal.
Please keep in mind that antibiotics cannot cure
viral diseases.
