In my first year of teaching, I hope to accomplish the following:

Establish an effective system that relays course-related information to parents

Collaborate with fellow teachers to share instructional and class management ideas
Invite instructional advisors, administration, and teachers to observe my classroom and
teaching techniques and offer constructive criticism as it relates to my instructional
practices and classroom management
Create positive relationships with school faculty and support staff
Stay current on school and district policies
Create a welcoming physical and emotional environment

By my fifth year of teaching, I hope to accomplish the following:

Seek additional teacher certification (i.e. become highly qualified in Education)

Maintain fluency in educational technology
Seek new ways to teach my students that makes lessons relevant to their lives
Seek new ways to differentiate my instruction of students with different learning styles
Use auditory, visual, and kinesthetic teaching to help my students get a more
comprehensive understanding of the content

I plan to seek membership in the following groups:

o National Council of Teachers of Mathematics
o Arizona Association of Teachers of Mathematics
