Final Portfolio Peer Workshop

For Anthony Grant

Criteria for this workshop:

Read the reviewer memo from the writer first.

Write a 100 word (minimum) note detailing the strengths of each page and areas where it
could benefit from improvement. Each note should specifically address the additional
content on the page, meaning the introduction to the page and the description for each
item. You may also include comments about the layout and arrangement of items;
however, this should not be your main focus.
Complete the rubric below.

2 peer workshops must be submitted by Wednesday, April 22 at 9:30 AM in order to receive

full credit for the workshop. No late workshops will be accepted.

Reviewer Memo
1. My intended audience for this portfolio is:

A general audience with little to no knowledge of my subjects.

2. My key purpose in designing this portfolio is to show (progress, persistence, flexibility, creativity,
independence):
Progress and persistence
3. My most important decisions/choices included the following:

My decision was based on seeing everything laid out in steps and getting
progressively better. Also making sure the two major projects are front and center so
to be seen first.
4. The design element like best right now is:

The simplicity of the pages.

5. The design element Im most frustrated with/dont like is:
How some of the information/document blocks dont link like I would prefer
6. Reviewers can help me most by helping me answer the following questions I have about my portfolio:
Does the introductory paragraphs help bring the reader into that specific page. Does
there need to be more or does it need to be split up?

Great introduction to the portfolio. I like how you incorporated both the intro and the letter to
Olivia right off the bat. You may want to change the Fall 2015 since this is actually Spring 2015.
Your letter to Olivia is candid and does not hide just how you felt about the course or what was
expected of you in this course. The honesty and transparency are rare qualities in a writer to be
displayed as you have. I would suggest leaving the introduction just as it is. I think that it
captures the readers attention and helps draw them into the remainder of the portfolio.
GA was put together well. The half complete peer workshop definitely could have been an issue
that you could have used to slow you down, but you did not. Very commendable for that effort
and determination on your part. Make sure that you include a final version of the GA in your
final portfolio for submission. That is a majority of the grade for this section.
Class Activity
There is not really anything that I can say about this section. You have the five daybook entries
included. I am curious why did you choose these particular daybook entries to include in your
portfolio over some of the others? It might help if you could explain briefly why you selected
the activity that you did.
Micro-ethnography
I did not see the 2 peer reviews for this section. Again make sure that you include a final version
of the ME paper to be included in your portfolio. You have proven without question that you
have not waited until the last minute to complete this and that you understand the importance of
getting the required information displayed without there being any issues finding it. Everything
is clear and easy to locate throughout the portfolio.
Reflections and Forums
Again make sure that you include the final version of the Final Reflection. You have everything
else that is expected. Great layout and thought process in how you designed the portfolio. Your
forum posts and replies are very good. I did not see the 2 in-class assignments, I may have
missed them.
