Q1. You are the Area Manager of U-fone for Lahore Zone. Customers of U-fone are
shifting to other mobile networks like Jazz, Warid and Telenor etc. Write a Market Report
in Letter Format for the month of December, 2014 to the General Manager of U-fone and
state the reasons of shifting of customers from U-fone to other mobile networks during this
time period. (10)

Market Report
Market Report for the month of December, 2014 stating the reasons for the shift of customers
from Ufone to other networks.
Lahore: Ufone is losing its customers as they shift to other networks like Jazz, Warid and
Telenor etc. This report highlights the chief reasons of this shift of customers.

Dear Sir,
Ufone was unable to maintain its market as the customers kept shifting from Ufone to other
networks throughout the month. The reason is the dissatisfaction with the services provided by
Ufone. They include:

Limited coverage
Signals distortion frequently
Limited access to internet
Attractive packages offered by other networks (and not by Ufone)
Lack of services offered at franchises; problems not being fixed properly.

The customers inferred that they do not find it suitable any more to stick to Ufone and be its
customer. All these reasons form the basis of the shift of large number of Ufones customers to
other networks.
This appears to be a serious issue and requires immediate action as the future of Ufone is at stake
in this zone.
