requires constant reading as English is a second language for me. I have had to read in regular basis to gain access to university but personally, I still have focus on finding ways to improve my vocabulary as well as my writing skills One of the main issues that I always come across with is the structure of (intelligent vocabulary) when I read smart books such as novels. In many occasions I have to rely on dictionary to find the meaning of a world or a whole sentence; which I consider it hard to compete. I believed that the way I was referencing (especially) images was right, but I was surprised to see the feedback of my work has been marked in many sections regarding referencing images. I have learnt from the feedback on how to clearly reference images in the future. Throughout my life I have visited and entered thousands of buildings, but to visit a building with perception of an architect i mid is different. I have lived in my current address for over five years but I have never understood the orientation of my property
and surrounding area until I begun this
course. Visiting a building enhance the knowledge of the building from various aspects such as the internal space, furniture formation, light, and how the building is used. It also enhance the understanding of the relation of the building to the surrounding area and the landscape. In theory I have learned the rules of academic writing and how to become a professional on how to write in a manner of respect to (Copy Rights), but as I have stated in the beginning of this task that I have some difficulties in vocabulary and the nature of strong sentence character. Risk of plagiarism is a gamble in this level of profession, I clearly understand that it is not acceptable to copy published work (written or graphic) from any source and use it verbatim as own work. Theres always a binning to (anything). Researching into relevant precedents to a design especially historical ones; is crucial. The basic factor of caring such study will improve the knowledge on how the proposed design will work in terms of use, efficiency
and performance. This require extensive
crucial thinking to become an architect. Historic documentation provides important information related to the significance of a property for use by historians, researchers, preservationists, architects, and historical archeologists. Research is used early in planning to gather information needed to identify and evaluate properties. (These activities are discussed in the Standards and Guidelines for Preservation Planning and the Standards and Guidelines for Identification.) (Website: Archeology and Historical Preservation).
