Purpose

The purpose of this survey was to

collect data on random
participants about their knowledge
on United Way and their
contributions to the community
Hypotheses
1. More than 75% of high school
students volunteer at least 10
hours a month.
2. More than 75% of surveyors will
know that homelessness is a huge
problem in America.
3. More than 50% of surveyors will
know that one-third of working
Americans do not earn enough
money to meet their basic needs
for survival.
Participants
I surveyed random people (25
people) who were willing to spare
their time to answer my survey. I
advertised my survey on
Facebook.
Conclusion
In conclusion, only one of my
hypotheses was correct: Over 50% of
the surveyors knew that Americans
did not earn enough money. The rest
of the hypotheses were wrong since
the surveyors reached an average
