PURPOSE: Why take notes?

NOTE TAKING   To gather information

  To remember what you learn or find

  To prepare for writing a paper

STEPS THINGS TO REMEMBER

  First, find a source   Most articles you find will have MORE THAN ONE
  Then, identify a relevant piece of text (direct useful direct quotation. Don’t just get one and move
