    Background
    During the fall of 2014, I made it a mission to secure an internship for the spring 2015 semester. I was able to find some
    options on the URI RhodyNet career website. I applied for about 3 internships that I believed would be best suited for me.
    I received interviews for all 3, and went on to interview with them. Immediately, I was able to choose Beacon Mutual as
    my first choice if given the opportunity. I chose this internship because of the small friendly environment it has. Also, the
    duties that I would be responsible for were all hands-on and could give me a great learning experience in the insurance
    industry.
    Professional Objectives
    Objective Examples:
    To learn and understand the concepts and internal controls of an insurance company
    To learn and expand my knowledge about information systems
    Activities & Resources: For each objective, you will list resources you will use (co-workers, texts, past materials) and
    activities you will do (research, observe, etc) to help you accomplish your objective.
    Research and inquire knowledge from my supervisor and fellow intern about insurance
    Experience other departments within the organization
    Continue to attend SQL classes hosted by my co-worker
