Other
Reflection: I really like the idea of the application of use for ePortfolios as an assessment tool. It is a place where people can
demonstrate their knowledge to future employers, to current professors, and to classmates. It is also extremely accessible. It
takes a while getting used to a new format, and I am really uncomfortable with Weebly right now. Hopefully with time and more
experience, my weebly ePortfolio sight will be more navigable and pleasant to visit. For now, I can see how this is sort of like our
professor sitting down next to us to get a sample of our work, while creating a work sample folder full of different work
throughout the semester. If I spent time teaching my students how to use Weebly or the Google app to create a website, this
would be a great way for them to demonstrate their work to me, and to show their classmates as well. I can see using it for class
projects, as well as simply using it as a public way to share with parents what we are doing in the classroom on a regular basis
with photos, work samples, links, videos, and more.
