If your company ships or is planning to ship hazardous

materials, then you won’t want to miss this seminar
sponsored by FedEx Ground.
Whether you mark, label, package, prepare or simply re-offer hazardous materials packages,
including ORM-D materials, you must be trained. Why? Because the U.S. Department of
Transportation, Code of Federal Regulations, 49CFR Part 172, Subpart H, mandates training for all
individuals involved in the transportation of hazardous materials.

The Ship Safe. Ship Smart. seminar, an online, comprehensive hazardous materials training course,
will teach attendees hazardous materials awareness requirements as outlined in 49CFR 172.704(a)(1)
and shipping practices that are required when shipping hazardous materials with FedEx Ground.

The Ship Safe. Ship Smart. program, which presents hazardous materials regulations in an
easy-to-understand format, will include the following topics:
! Rules and regulations. Covers Title 49CFR and FedEx Ground requirements.
