Creating Triptychs in InDesign:

Photo Boxes
Text Boxes

To insert Photos:
Keyboard Shortcut: CTRL d

Place window will open on screen.

Select Image to be imported and click OPEN

Photo will be loaded automatically into the image box.

Photo size can be adjusted by double clicking on the image (brown bounding box appears around

the photo)

Holding the ALT and Shift key you can click and drag the corners of the image to resize image to


fit box.

Repeat these steps for each photo.
**Photos can be rearranged on the screen using the black selection arrow and clicking and dragging photos to
the desired location. If you want a vertical document go to: FILE--> Document Setup --> change Orientation
To add Text:

Double click inside the text box.

You will see the curser appear in the top right corner.

Begin to type.

You can copy and past text from Word and Google Docs.
**Text styles, fonts, etc... can be changed in the options bar at the top of the screen. Text boxes can also be rearranged, resized, etc... just like the photo boxes.
