The document provides instructions for a weekly devotional for children, including reviewing the central truth, memory verse, and Bible story each day. Children who complete the devotional for 3 weeks will have their picture posted. The story recounts how Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, called out to Jesus and had his sight restored after Jesus said his faith had healed him. The prayer asks God to help the child grow in faith, protect loved ones, forgive sins, teach obedience, and tell others about God's love.

Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and
confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in the foyer of Power Source.
Our strong faith protects us from the attacks of the enemy.
Father God,
A man named Bartimaeus had been blind since he was
born. He would sit by the road and beg for money. One day, he heard that Jesus was coming. He began to cry out to Jesus. He knew that Jesus could heal him. Some tried to make Bartimaeus be quiet, but he shouted even louder. Jesus stopped. He told Bartimaeus that his faith had made him well. As Bartimaeus turned to go, his eyes were healed! Now he could see! Mark 10: 46-52
Thank you for helping me to grow in my faith. Thank you
for protecting my parents, teachers, friends, Pastor Ron, and his family. May they be strengthened with all might in Your glorious power. (Col. 1:11) Forgive me when I sin with my mouth, my hands or my thoughts. Teach me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth (Eph. 6:2-3). Help me to tell others about Your great love! Thank you that because of Jesus, I am healed and whole. In Jesus Name, Amen
