Grounding scope of work :

Electrical Grounding (dirt grounding)

Electrical Grounding (clean grounding)

Instrument Grounding (float grounding)

Electrical Grounding (Dirt Grounding) :

Objectives : to be used for structural, mechanical and piping, including its
support.
Method :
o Single point of grounding is needed

Electrical Grounding (Clean Grounding) : to be used for electrical equipment and
electrical / instrument cubicle. Two points of grounding are needed, first point is for
incoming electron and second point is for outgoing electron.
Instrument Grounding (Float Grounding) : to be used for field instrument such as
transmitter and switch, including off-line analyzer. For all field instrument, there is only a
single point of grounding which is to be located at instrument marshalling / PLC panel.
