M.Sc. / PG Diploma in Construction Project Management
2011/12 M.Sc. specialized in Construction Project Management is a six semester (two year) part-time Post Graduate degree programme consisting of compulsory modules, elective modules and a compulsory research project. The Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Project Management is a four semester (approx.18 months) part-time programme consisting of compulsory modules and elective modules. Each semester consists of 14 weeks. Lectures will be held from 1.00 pm - 7.15 pm on Fridays and from 9.00 am 7.30 pm on Saturdays at the University of Moratuwa. The above postgraduate course is expected to commence in January 2011. ELIGIBILITY: a) A degree of Bachelor of Science in Engineering (specialised in Civil Engineering) Or b) A degree from a recognized university with one year of relevant experience. Or c) An Associate Membership of a recognised professional engineering institution in the relevant field and a minimum of two years of experience after obtaining such membership. The acceptability of the professional qualification of the candidate, the recognition of the institute and the relevancy of the field shall be judged by the Faculty and approved by the Senate.
