    To Whom It May Concern:
    I have served as Jacob Rotas school counselor at Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical
    High School. I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation in support of his admission to Middlesex
    Community College.
    Jake is a bright and talented student in our Information Technology program. He easily grasps the
    material that is presented to him and turns in quality work. For instance, he earned the John and Abigail
    Adams scholarship because of the high scores he received on the MCAS test. However, Jake has gone
    through some personal struggles during his high school career that made it difficult to focus on his
    schoolwork and impacted his grades. Nevertheless, Jake values his education and he was determined to
    graduate no matter how hard it was for him to come to school at times. His strong will and perseverance
    are admirable.
    Jake has always been very interested in music and hopes to have a career in the music industry. He
    plans to further his education in pursuit of this goal. Jake would like to participate in the Massachusetts
    Block Transfer program. Then, he hopes to transfer to the University of Massachuesetts- Lowell Campus,
    and earn a degree in Sound Recording Technology. I believe that Jake has the ability, passion, and tenacity
    to be successful in achieving this goal and that he would be an asset in the music field. Furthermore, I
    think that Middlesex Community College will be an excellent start to Jakes college career. If you have
