Suggestions for Continuing Professional Development: Areas of Strength and Areas for Growth

This lesson was a success in every respect. Kelly's instructional performance,


classroom management, time management and lesson plan were all very strong. She
used direct instruction, collaborative learning, and active learning, as well as technology
to meet learning outcomes. She included many opportunities for student participation
and used formative assessment throughout the lesson. Her lesson was engaging and
pedagogically strong, and her materials were professional. She incorporated previously
given feedback by providing more explicit positive reinforcement.
Overall: great job!
