American planes launch their attack, sinking the Soryu, Kaga, and Akagi.
Japanese counter and damage the Yorktown.
American's launch their final counter and sink the Japanese's final ship, the Hiryu.
Straggling Japanese ships that did not escape were hunted and sunk.
A Japanese sub went by American destroyers and sunk a destroyer and the Yorktown,
providing the final blow of the Battle of Midway.
Chester Nimitz (Admiral) commanded the overall defensive attack of Midway.
Frank Fletcher (Senior Tactical Commander) commanded two task forces TF17 and TF16
Raymond Spruance ( Task Force) commanded Yorktown and supporting battleships.
Isoroku Yamamoto (Admiral) commanded the overall offensive attack on Midway.
Chuichi Nagumo (Air Fleet) commanded First Air Fleet, IJN's main carrier force.
