    1. Your creative writing must begin with a complex sentence inserting
    yourself into a particular scene of the novel.
    Example:
    When
    Candys dog died, I felt bad for him.

    2. You must continue the scene from that perspective touching on the
    following:
    a. How did you wind up on the ranch?
    b. What is your goal? Why are you there?
    c. Do you believe you will succeed? Or will you be a victim of
    fate?
    d. What makes you more or less likely to succeed than the other
    characters on the ranch?
    e. Write about one other character, and your relationship with
    them.

    3.
    Your story must be 150 words or more, and it must involve you
    in the story, do not simply write about the novel.
