Born on March 26, 1968 in Knoxville, Tennessee at St.
Marys Medical Center
Birth name: Kenneth Arnold Chesney
He attended East Tennessee State University
He is a singer, songwriter and guitarist
One of the biggest names in country music

Carrier
Playing at clubs near campus and was paid $5 an hour
He then made a homemade album and sold over 1000 copies and
used the money to buy a new guitar.
Kenny then signs with BNA Records
With BNA, Kenny dropped All I Need to Know album
Two songs reach the top 25 billboard

Building popularity, Kenny then released his second album Me and


You in 1996
The song When I Close My Eyes peaks at #2 on the Billboard country
