How to make Pluggo work with LIVE?

by kleine@ableton.com

Now youve got your copy of Live and you just wonder if you can turn your computer into
an interstellar sfx-starship via adding the force of Pluggo?
Pluggos installation and functionality differ somewhat from other VST Plug-ins.
There is no full support for Pluggo yet, because Pluggo contains also
VSTis and internal routing procedures Live cant handle in its
current status (Live 1.1).
However its possible to make Pluggo Effects work within Live.
To run a selection of Pluggo make sure that:
a) the MAXPlugLib
b) the MAXAudio Library for Plugins and
c) the Pluggo Support Folder
are all placed in the Live Resources Folder.
If you already have installed Pluggo for another application, simply
copy these files into the Live Resources Folder.
If you do a fresh Pluggo install, make sure that all Files are placed as described above.
Make also sure that you dont mix VSTis with VST Plug-ins in the Live
VST Folder. The best way to make sure which Pluggo works is to copy plug for plug
into the Live VST Folder .
Live 1.1 and Pluggo 2.1 seems to be a good team but if you plan to do a two hour live set
with Live and Pluggo you should carefully test it before you go on stage...
