My name is Kirstin Shanklin, and I will be your student's Algebra

1-2 teacher for the 2015-2016 school year. This will be my first
year teaching, and I couldn't be more ecstatic! I completed my
Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education Mathematics at
Arizona State University, and completed my student teaching at
Central High School during the 2014-2015 school year.
I am very familiar and comfortable with the Algebra 1-2
curriculum, and I look forward to helping your student not only
refine, but expand their mathematical skills and competencies.
Trevor Browne knows that Algebra 1-2 is a crucial class when it
comes to high school graduation. This is a foundational course
that will set the tone for the remainder of the classes that your
student will take throughout high school. The skills that your
student will learn in this course will be imperative for their
success in Geometry, Algebra 3-4, and Trigonometry. Thus, any
support that you can provide will increase the chances that your
student will be successful.
