    Language Arts: Keeping a Science Notebook. On this notebook, students will be assigned to write about things they observed
    that involve science such as technology, plants, animals, humans, space, weather, etc.
    Math: Measuring objects: Give each students a sheet of paper with different geometric shapes on it. They will measure the
    items listed in centimeters and millimeters and describe their shapes in the space provided.
    Social Studies: Oceans Around The World. Students will learn and recognize about the four major oceans around the world.
    Science: Making a Bean Plant. Students will be provided with small, empty "Gerber" jars, some cotton balls, and one pinto
    bean each and they will learn how to make a plant grow and how to keep it alive with water and sunshine.
    Music: Classifying Sounds. Students will compare the pitch and volume of sounds produced by different objects.
    Art: Make a Papier-Mache Bowl. Students will learn how to make a Papier-Mache bowl and decorate it so they can take home
    and use to put small toys in or craft supplies.
