Conclusion

The results obtained from the experiment prove to be consistent with the equation for the
magnetic field strength. An obtained linearity coefficient of 0.9997 shows a linear
relationship between the magnetic field and the current. Furthermore, the same relationship
is exhibited between the magnetic field and the number of turns per unit length of the
solenoid with a linearity coefficient of 0.9932. Moreover, the expected direction of the
magnetic field lines produced by the different orientations of the bar magnets were verified
using the field pattern window and the magnetic field model. Therefore, the experiment was
successful in proving the validity of the existing theories regarding magnetic field and its
sources.
