Brief Description: For this assignment, I created a parent letter. This mock letter talks about my
class and the achievement gap that happens in almost all classes with diversity. I offered contact
information and the schools information.

Rationale: To document my understanding of Standard #10, Leadership and Collaboration, I

selected to include my Parent Letter because this assignment collaborates with families and
community members involving them in the classroom.
