Personal Pedagogy
A pedagogy has to do with the study and practice of how best to teach. It is the method of
teaching and deals with the theory and practice of education. I believe that every child should
receive an equal and fair education and no child should ever be harmed in the process of it. In my
classroom I will encourage life-long learning. I will be a caring, loving, patient energetic,
trustworthy, respectful, and exciting teacher. I believe that children learn best when they do
hands on activities and have visuals, and experience what they are learning. I also believe that it
is an important aspect for the students to be social when it comes to learning. Activing each
others schema and building new schema off of one another. I believe that play plays a very
important role in learning as a whole. Children need to learn about their environment, they need
to learn how to be social with others, the need to learn interpersonal life skills, they need to
strengthen their gross motor and fine motor skills, and they need to just enjoy childhood in
general.
