Peer Edit: I learned a lot from my peers looking over my work.

I have
decided to not use my Arab friends as sources, only because I dont
want anyone to look at this paper as bias, even if it is a bias against
ignorance and prejudice. Noah and Sydney helped me to steer away
from an argumentative paper and focus more on information. Noah
and Bethan helped me direct my paper to something that the average
American would care about, such as infringements on civil liberties and
overreach of the government. Noah had suggested that I talk about
the Crusades within my paper. I was really debating it, and finally
decided not to. I didnt want to fight hatred with hatred. Noah and I
decided that it would be a lot more beneficial to point out the flaws of
the past and the current mistakes of some Christians and Catholics,
and then showing how we can both grow and learn from our mistakes
together. Noah and Bethan both agreed that it was important for me
to attack the media I wanted to make it clear that I am not singling
anyone out as an enemy. The enemies Im combatting are ignorance,
misunderstanding and misinformation. The peer editing process was
very important to clarify and expand my ideas while understanding
how my reader would react.
