Assignment #2 Axis Domination

Did France fall to the Germans because of their own weaknesses and strategic mistakes or
because of the incredible strategy, strength and skill of the German Wehrmacht (Army) and
Luftwaffe (Air Force)?
France falls to Germany because of poor planning and strategic mistakes which lead to
weakness. France had some of the most advanced weapons for the war, but the problem was that
no one had proper plans and orders for the soldiers to use them efficiently. Organization and
planning for war was bad which results in terrible war effort. The map that the French army used
was also old and not updated, which always leads army to the wrong places. Another strategic
mistake that France made was not realizing the Ardennes Forest trick that Germany played in the
Battle of Budges. If French had figured the trick out instead of sending most soldiers to Belgium,
they would have won the battle and do not need to surrender.
