Tasked with designing, marketing, and selling an entirely new product from an existing company, our group
detailed a product description, product lifecycle, target market forecast, market penetration strategy, and
promotion strategy. Formal business presentation (10+ minutes) highlighted the product and included a sales
pitch.
Branding Strategy: Mend At Home Startup
Tasked with a focus group (2 other marketing students) to create a marketing strategy to build brand equity and
brand image for a startup business: Mend at Home. Determined target market, effective and relevant social
media advertising strategies, social media calendar planned for a month, brand mantra created.
Entrepreneurship: Creation of a Product Idea and Business Model
Tasked with creating a business idea for a new product to solve a problem in the automotive title lending
industry. Determined target market for the product, the business model, and revenue model. Created a 15
minute presentation to discuss the problem, factors creating the problem, our solution, the logistics of our
solution and its ability to generate revenue.
