Trapezoid
A trapezoid is a parallelograms
brother, and like the parallelogram, a
trapezoid is under quadrilateral
because it is just a more detailed
version. It has one pair of parallel
sides called bases, and the nonparallel
sides are called legs, but if the legs
measurements are congruent, it is
called an isosceles trapezoid. Its
diagonals are congruent. It has a
median that is a segment that joins at
the midpoints of its legs
