Counselors Corner
Dear Parents,
Its hard to believe that the school year is already over! It has been
a great school year. I have enjoyed getting to know you and your
students better. As you may have heard, I will not be returning to
Southwest next year because I am getting married and moving,
but I am excited that Mrs. Long, the current Middle School
Counselor, will be taking over as the Elementary School
Counselor. I know that she will do a fabulous job next year! Thank
you all for making my two years at Southwest wonderful; I will
definitely miss everyone.

Career Field Trips

The 4th and 5th graders had a great time on their career field trips!
Students were able to pick one of the six field trips, which
corresponded with the six different career paths. Pictured below is
the Creative Path field trip to the Museum of Native American
History, in Bentonville, AR.
