Equipment: 10 Footballs, 16 Cones, 6 red pinnies,6 blue pinnies, 6 yellow pinnies, 6 green
pinnies
Focus of Lesson: Review of positions, Gameplay

STUDENT PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES (SPO):


By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
1) (P) SWBAT Demonstrate the proper skills of football taught throughout the unit in
gameplay by playing a competitive game when asked by the teacher. (S2.H1.L1)
2) (C) SWBAT Acknowledge the different positions in football and what their roles correctly
when asked by the teacher. (S3.H1.L1)

3) (A) SWBAT Respect the class rules by respecting all the equipment throughout the entire
lesson. (S4.H2.L1)

TEACHER PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES 1 The teacher will keep the students on task by reminding them of the class rules when they
lose focus
2 The teacher will use positive feedback and positive specific feedback when assessing the
students.
3. Teacher will give proper demonstrations using many different angles.
4. Teacher will use proper teacher positioning and teacher volume due to environment
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

Since the students may be outside, scanning is very important


Time management is very important so students can receive plenty of practice time.
Students must have proper clothing and shoes
No physical contact should be seen throughout the lesson.
Students will follow class rules of respecting others, the equipment and having good
behavior.

Informing: Since this is one of
the last days of the football
unit, the teacher will start by
giving the students information
on what they will be doing
today in class, which is mostly
gameplay.
Focus: Students will participate
a short practice, and gameplay
to combine all the football skills
they have worked on into
gameplay.

signals will be 1-2-3 Go or use
of whistle and my stop signal
will be 3-2-1 Stop or the use of
my whistle.
Safety: Students will make
sure they are looking up while
running so they do not run into
anyone. No tackling. Blocking
will be used by students hands
will be across the chest so no
grabbing will be allowed.
Student Behavior: Students
will participate in all activities.
They will listen and not talk
while the teacher is talking.

up into four teams of six, each
team having a different color
pinni. Once the teams are
broken up, each team will get a
few minutes to get in a circle
and warm up by throwing and
catching the football back and
forth with their team.
