RESIDENT RULES-A STUDY OUTLINE

CARDINAL RULES
Failure to meet any of the following will result in immediate loss of residency:
1. Consumption or possession of alcohol or other drugs.
2. Accepting visitors who are under the influence of alcohol/drugs.
3. An act or threat of violence.
4. Theft or any other criminal act.
FIRE, HEALTH AND SAFETY
To best assure a safe and healthy environment:
1. No smoking in beds or sleeping areas.
2. All smoking material disposed in safe containers.
3. No packing of boxes, clothes or other clutter material in units.
4. Check all appliances and utilities when leaving premises.
CLEANLINESS AND COOPERATION
To keep the environment clean and promote consideration among residents.
1. All residents will share cleaning and upkeep tasks.
2. All residents will clean dishes and utensils and clean kitchen after eating.
3. Clean shower, bathtub and basin after use.
4. Make bed early and leave personal area clean and tidy.
COURTESY
To enhance facility harmony:
1. No loud music or television.
2. Visitors are welcomed only with the complete approval of other residents.
3. Telephone conversations limited and no calls after 11 PM.
MEETINGS AND MISCELLANEOUS
1. Weekly coordination meetings to be attended by all residents.
2. Residents remain active in a program of recovery.
3. Resident fees to be paid in advance.
