Dear Families

Happy Monday! Please do not forget that there is NO SCHOOL this Friday. I hope
all families have a happy derby!
I have had a few absences these last few weeks. For the most part, students have
been very good for our guest instructors. Some students have made poor decisions
with these guest instructors. I am out today but when I return, if your child has had
a pattern of making poor choices with our guest instructor, please expect a phone
call to schedule a conference. Just because I am out does not mean students can
mistreat any individual in my place.
We are only a few weeks away from the upcoming state assessment. Please have
your child working on Study Island. This is a great resource that our school pays
for so that students can get additional assistance. There are the options for students
to play game mode but Study Island presents questions to students in a way that are
very similar to what the students will experience on KPrep.
It has been a while since our class did a theme. Students we are going to go all
out and have a Derby Day on Thursday including races! Please dress
accordingly
