Iwillknowthestudentlearningoutcomesweremetmyobservingtheirworkwiththetilesandintheresortingofthe
words.InadditionIwillknowbylisteningtothemsoundingoutthewordstoseeiftheyhaveappliedthemouth
strategyinsoundingoutthewords.Iwillhavethepaperexitticketassessmentwhichwillhelpmedetermineifthe
studentswereontaskduringthelessonandunderstoodthebasiclessoncontent.
Iexpectchallengesinholdingthestudentsattention.Theyareagroupofstudentswithlearningdisabilitieswhichalso
includeshortattentionspans.Iamhopingtokeepthegroupinlineandfocusedonthetasks.Iknowthatthiswill
bedifficultbecauseitisdifficultfortheresourceteachertodoitonaregularbasis,soinevitableitwillbedifficultforme.
Inaddition,Iamexpectingsomedifficultywithkeepingthematerialsorganizedandstraight.Thereisalotofmoving
tilesandswitchingactivitiessotheremightbesomedifficultwithtransitionsforboththestudentsandI.Iwilltryto
makesureIamorganizedandflipfromoneactivitytotheotherwitheasy,makingsuremymaterialsareinorder.For
thestudentsduringthesetransitions,Iwilltrytousetherewardchartsystemtheteacherhasinplacetokeepthe
studentsfocusedduringthetransitions.
