    Teaching Philosophy

    The path to excellence is filled with joy, heartache, challenges and triumph

    My goal is to have students know that they are capable of doing anything that they set
    their minds to and having a disability will be a part of them, but it will not define who they are. I
    firmly believe that my students will respectful environment which includes learning to respect
    the diverse cultures and disabilities that are present in the classroom. As a future special
    education teacher I know that I will wear many hats as I walk with my students in their education
    but I know my passion for making a difference in these students lives will make up for any
    challenge or heartache that may come along the way.
