Work Environment
You can expect a 40-hour workweek. Whether you work days, Monday through
Friday, or some evenings and weekends, will depend on your workplace and
clients' needs. Unless you're an administrator, occupational therapy involves
hands-on physical work, even as a researcher or consultant. Helping people solve
essential life problems can be emotionally demanding, too.
