ARROZ ATOLLADO

ARROZ CON COCO

The atollado rice is a typical meal Colombian department of Valle del


Cauca. Besides rice , it
carries chicken, pork , potatoes of different kinds ,
vegetables and seasonings. It is a soaked rice. It
is served with fried plantains , hogao and chorizo.

The coconut rice is a typical dish of the Caribbean, especially in the

Caribbean
Coast . It is usually served
with fried plantains , fish
and salad.

BANDEJA PAISA

AJIACO SANTAFEREO

The Bandeja paisa is the


most representative dish of
the coffee regin. The paisa food is very complete
and delicious made with
rice, beans, avocado,
chorizo, Banana slices and
egg.

The Mute is a typical dish


of Santander and Norte
de Santander in Colombia . It is made from corn,
beef ribs and pork with
the presence of a lot of
vegetables. The mute,
can traditionally cooked
in wood stoves for best
flavor .

The ajiaco Bogotan or


santafereo is a melting
pot of chicken soup containing different types of
potatoes and can be served alone or with cream
and pickled capers, usually in clay bowls. Ajiaco also usually includes baby
corn cobs. For the important cultural role it plays, it
is considered a santaferea tradition.
