Climate varies between different regions
in the state
Experience all four seasons
Thunderstorms are very common in the
spring and summer as well as hail and
tornadoes.
Hurricanes also regularly occur

Geography
Alaska and Hawaii became the forty-ninth and
fiftieth states
Lake Lanier reaches 1070 feet above sea level
for the first time in march 25th, 1959
There are 5 major regions of Georgia:
Appalachian, Ridge and Valley, Blue Ridge,
Piedmont, and Coastal Plain

Lifestyle

Life in Georgia as well as most of the southerns


states was incredibly racist, including
segregation.
