Objective: For students to learn the presidents in order. Grade: 4th -5th Standard: 6. Covey meaning through the presentation of musical work. Step by step: 1) Teacher will start off by having students stand in a circle and watch what the teacher does. The teacher will demonstrate the following: STOMP, SNAP, STOMP, CLAP, PAT (REPEAT) 2) Teacher will start with the stomp, snap, stomp, clap, pat and then have the studnets repeat it a couple of times. 3) Then students will add the presidents in. 4) They have to say a president after finishing the line. So it will go a little like this: Stomp, snap, stomp, clap, pat (George Washington) Stomp, snap, stomp, clap, pat (John Adams) 5) They will keep going until they get through all the presidents. 6) This will be a review for the students after learning the presidents.
