Challenge

students to create their own

symbols
Remember when you said you wanted

Now we are going to bring our ideas to
life with an art project
We will be creating our own
representations of the tree of life

Wrapping Up
Student will then have writing time and
will write about their reasoning behind the
symbols they chose to use in the art work
After students have finished their pieces,
we will have a class gallery walk
The students writings will be displayed
next to their pieces of art
The teacher will then combine all of the
projects into a book using IPhoto
