The Lion and

The Mouse

Mr Franklin

One day, a lion was sleeping in

the jungle.

Suddenly, a mouse ran over the

lion.

The lion woke up and caught the

mouse. Please dont kill me, Mr
Lion. I know that I am small and
weak but I promise I will help you
someday, said the mouse.

So, the lion let the mouse go.

Some days later, the lion was caught in

the net. Help, help! shouted the lion.

The mouse heard the lion

shouting. It quickly went to help
the lion. It bit the net with its
sharp teeth.

Finally, the lion was freed. It was

saved by the little mouse.

The moral of the story is:

Even the small and

weak people can be
of great help.
