majoring in sports medicine or
physical therapy.

I babysit family friends' children
who are in elementary school at
least twice a week. I also babysit
for different families in my
neighborhood or if someone just
asks me to watch their kids for a
while.

Through our church, my family
sponsors an orphan from
Thailand and we send letters and
packages to him. Every
Christmas, we go to the church
and pack boxes full of presents
and toys and necessary items for

the children in Thailand.

senior citizens.

There was only a certain
amount of orphans in Thailand
who had papers int heir file. If
these children had papers, they
could come to America. The
orphans who came spent nine
nights at different sponsors
homes. They came to the church
and we served them dinner.

Teens class, three other 8th
grade students and I had the
idea to help homeless people in
our area. We started a drive at
our school for toiletries and
winter gear for the homeless
people in the Detroit area.
