VOW HOA ANNUAL MEETING MINUTES 4.22.

BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT:
Rex Hogue Bill Brassfield Phil Gibson Erin Mudie Rodney Cruz
BOARD MEMBERS ABSENT:
OTHERS PRESENT: David Meyer, CMA, David Hillock, Mayor, Town of Little
Elm, Doug Peach, Assistant Town Manager, Town of Little Elm, Mike Green,
Community Integrity, Town of Little Elm, VOW Residents, Elisa McAtee, Lisa
Oesterholt
1. Meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. by Board President Rex
Hogue.
2. Quorum was met for meeting.
3. Approval of 2013 Annual Meeting Minutes: Motion made by David
Pruitt, 2nd by Faye Moritz. 2013 Annual Meeting Minutes approved.
4. Board Treasurer Phil Gipson opted to step down from Board of
Directors. Rex Hogue called for nominations from the floor and
recognized the 2 candidates Secretary Erin Mudie and Jennifer Altizer.
No nominations from the floor. Erin Mudie re-elected to the Board of
Directors and Jennifer Altizer elected to Board of Directors.
5. Introduction of guests:
A. Candidates running for LEISD School Board: Alex Flores, Curtis
Savage, Elisa McAtee. Also Lisa Oesterholt running for State
Representative for Denton County.
B. David Hillock, Mayor, Town of Little Elm, Doug Peach, Assistant Town
Manager, Town of Little Elm
6. Mayor Hillock went over long term strategic plan of the Town of Little
Elm
7. Doug Peach presented an overview/update of road construction
projects around the Town of Little Elm and mentioned that Walk and
Woodlake Traffic Signal, Split Median at Eldorado and Pecan allowing
for a left turn. He also covered Parks and Recreation Updates to include
Swim Beach Expansion, Boat Ramp relocation, and lake side trail
system. He also presented updates regarding retail/restaurants and
new housing developments as well as the opportunity to expand much
needed police and fire services along 380.
8. Rex Hogue reviewed violation numbers over the past 4 years and we
have seen an increase in violations especially trashcan violations.
