Students are tasked with creating a new animal by combining features of existing animals, selecting a habitat and developing details about its traits, diet, and parenting behaviors. They will draw from resources like magazines, computers and pictures to design their creature. The assignment aims to foster creative thinking as students incorporate multiple animals into one new discovery, with few limitations beyond combining animals from the same environment.

a. Create an animal and select a habitat, food web and animal kingdom for your new discovery. b. Write a brief summary of the animals traits, characteristics and ways of living. (how they get food, how they nurse their young etc.) 2. Condition of this lesson a. The students will have resources such as magazines, computers and pictures to incorporate the features of multiple animals into one creature. b. Students must use their creative minds to successfully accomplish the objectives The limitations of the performances listed about will be considered when creating an animal of the students own discovery. The limits include finding a couple animals of the same environment and combining those into a new creature for their own creative minds to illustrate. Although, I dont see many limitations with a very broad spectrum of creativity shown through the objectives. The students can take these objectives into perspective when they are creating a new animal they have discovered.
